So this happens both at work (MacPro 3,1) and home (MacPro 4,1).
Basically, from time to time, maybe once a week, the mouse and/or keyboard will just become completely unresponsive until I pull them out of the USB port and plug them back in.
For instance, right now I was doing the dishes, came back to my computer and the mouse didn't move at all. The keyboard was fine, so I unplugged the mouse, popped it back in (into the keyboard port) and it was fine.
Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know why it happens? They're different machines... this has happened on both 10.5 and 10.6... the only thing I can think of is that I have similar, but definitely not identical, software sets at work and at home, but I don't have anything weird at work, really just the ProApps, Firefox, MPEGStreamclip, Handbrake, and Office 08.
