Mouse and Trackpad conflicting??

When I plug in my mouse into my new Macbook Pro (Microsoft Mobile 6000, works on my iMac), the cursor acts as if it has a REALLY low DPI only when I use the mouse. The Trackpad works fine. After using the trackpad, the mouse works for a little bit but then starts acting up again.

I'm not sure if those symptoms are 100% accurate, but I'm getting really annoyed by it...... Whatcha think?

Found something else: It works through a hub (such as an apple keyboard usb port) but not directly plugged into the computer.
