Mouse and trackpad hiccup. Any ideas?

Whenever I move my mouse or trackpad it stops at certain intervals and jumps back into place. Very annoying and can't seem to find info on this.

Anyone any idea what could be causing this, it's very irritating, it just started happening on my 2018 macbook pro.
