Hi everyone,

I have some concerns regarding Logitech Options.
It works perfectly fine but somehow I don't want it to watch all my keystrokes with permission.

I have an MX Master first gen and the MX Keys Keyboard.
There is just one small thing that keeps me from uninstalling the Logitech Options Software:
I want the back and forward keys for browsing in safari...

Do you guys have any suggestions what I could do to get rid of the software without loosing this function?

My first thoughts were
- Little snitch to prevent Logitech from anything sent home (is there maybe a Mac OS solution for that?)
It is not about the 45 USD, but I don't really like that much software on my Mac that is from outside the App Store.
- sensible side buttons, which has quite the same issue with the source where it comes from.
- just ignoring and feeling a little bit watched...

None of this seems really perfect for me :/

I am wondering if I can set the back key somehow in the Mac OS System...

And it may not make sense anyway to avoid this software or anything else from the web... but for me this is somehow luxurious not to think about such things in my daily internet life. In the end it is about a me feeling safe while using the Mac.

Thanks
Florian
