Mouse cursor light blue stroke on external screen

I've this weird issue, white mouse outline on macbook pro's internal screen turns light blue on external screen.

Whites on external screen are perfectly fine though.

This is extremly pronounced when night shift is on.

Did you find the reason in the end? I have the exact same thing. Quite disturbing to be honest..
