I have my MacBook (see sig for specs) connected to a 1920x1080 external monitor. I've been noticing that whenever I disconnect it from the monitor, use it, and then reconnect it the mouse cursor reverts back to it's un-antialiased, drop shadowed state. The only way to fix it I've found is to restart or log out/in.

Back when Quartz Extreme was new and not all computers supported it, that was the easiest way to see if it was enabled or not. In System Profiler, I see nothing about Quartz Extreme either way right now (since, right now, my cursor doesn't have the effects). EDIT: Still not under Graphics/Displays after log out/in. It may be because I'm using an external monitor, though.

Any ideas why this is happening and/or how to fix it?
