This is probably a stupid question but when I what a Movie/TV from iTunes on my iMac using the remote app on my iPhone the mouse cursor doesn't seem to disappear.

Can anyone advise how to make this vanish?

I'm watching the movie full screen and the dock etc disappears no problem.

Thanks

Normally the cursor will disappear automatically a few seconds after you've fullscreened a video.

Question: If you start the same video playing using a mouse instead of the iPhone remote app does the cursor hide properly, or does it remain visible?

If it's also visible then, it's probably something 3rd party causing the issue, although I can't suggest what. If not, the only thing I can think of is if the mouse cursor was coincidentally left over where the controls appear, so is failing to hide.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it.

Yeah, if I control it direct from my mac, the cursor disappears. I don't really shut down any apps eg firefox, safari.

I'll see what happens if I close them down.

Thanks for the tip!
