I wanted to see how the sleep function worked on my 2010 i7 macbook pro, so I put it to sleep, then pressed a key to wake it, & tried to move my microsoft intellimouse around, it was stuttery or did not move much, before I put to sleep it was fine.
I discussed leaving my macbook pro on sometimes without shutting down all the time, & was suggested putting it to sleep during periods of non use. So I tried it, but if I get this mouse behavior, the sleep mode might not work for me.
I just also ran software update from 10.6.3 to 10.6.6
