My Bluetooth Magic Mouse (version 3.0.6 apparently) randomly drops its connection from my new MacBook Pro (2023 16" M2 Max). I notice this when the mouse is attached to my Studio Display. Using macOS 13.3.1 (a). This happens probably at least once a day, typically in the middle of doing something (i.e., not after sleep or anything). I click away neurotically until the pointer comes alive again, according to its own mysterious rules.

Anyone else come across this and have an idea what might be causing it? Can Bluetooth devices interfere with one another? I do have quite a few around the place, though I would have thought most people do. Or is this Magic Mouse too old or something?

How old is your majesty mouse?c I ask because over the years I noticed in All older Bluetooth seems to only talk to the net interaction of Bluetooth and and other older! This tue if your Magic Mouse is more than three years!

"Majesty" mouse? Didn't realise it was royalty 😂 But yes, it is indeed several years old (about 8?), so maybe that's a factor (not sure what you mean by "talk to the net interaction of Bluetooth and and other older" but, yes, maybe!

I guess if it gets too annoying I'll have to get a newer model!
