Mouse effects

I've seen this a million times on Youtube, but I just can't find it.
I'm looking for the water ripple effect when you click on the mouse. The same effect that occurs when the "manage widgets" window opens.
Does anybody have this?
It may be a desktop effect and not a mouse effect I don't know...
The only thing I've found are stupid mouse trailing effects which are terribly annoying

That is a feature of the screen recording app, in order to highlight the mouse click, not a feature of OS X or the mouse.

What I'm looking for is an app that will show those effects.

I don't think it is possible all the time.

you can submit a bug report to apple, but I think it will stay at the bottom of priority chart forever.

Windows and OSX are different, after all.
