Mouse for Leopard?

Our daughter is off to University next month and wants to take our old G4 Power Mac (Quicksilver upgraded to 2.0 Ghz) running Leopard with her as well as her MacBook running Mountain Lion.

However she isn't keen on my Logitech TrackBall and prefers a Mouse. Any recommendations? (she doesn't like Apple mice).
