I have just enrolled in a Photoshop class at my college and I am in need of a mouse. I have Photoshop CS5 on my MBP and I have used the trackpad for somethings, but I feel it would be to difficult to use for the more complicated/precision tasks in PS.

I ask you for your personal preferences for wireless mice (USB receiver or Bluetooth).

I'm looking to keep it on the cheaper end of the price range as paying for school has done quite a number on my bank account already.

I've used MROOGLE, but all the threads seem to be older.

Thanks for all your help.

EDIT: I'm left-handed, so no mice curved for righties.

Razer Deathadder for me. Excellent precision, it should be.. after all it IS for games.

Magic Mouse works very well for it as well. Don't know if either are in your price range though.

I believe both mice are made for lefties & righties.

Get a small wacom tablet. Comes with a pen and a mouse. Pen would be good for precision painting and the mouse is fine for everything else.

I've read that tablets are good, but I'll be doing basic stuff (its a 100 level class). I probably only need a mouse. And realistically, I could probably just use my trackpad, but I feel like a mouse would just speed things up.

Anyone know about the logitech M305 or M505?

EDIT: 310 and 510 seem like the newer versions.

when working with PS it's advisable not to go with a "cheaper" mouse since you need precision

Well I mean cheaper as in, the best bang for my buck.

I was looking for a laser mouse, but just want to make sure I'm getting a decent one at least.

Logitech M510?
