I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro with 10.8.5 on it. That i occasionally have a second monitor hooked up to using it in a dual screen way. I have had no problems doing this for since I purchased the Mac. A few weeks ago I hooked up the second monitor and it worked fine for a minute or so then the mouse started not responding. I would have to swipe across the track pad four or five times to get in to the other side of the screen if i was lucky. I figured maybe i needed to restart but that didn't work. Yesterday I had Windows 7 loaded through bootcamp and hooked up the monitor and the same thing happened.
Does anyone know a fix for this. I us the second monitor to make school work easier and it is kind of important. Thanks
