Mouse Help

Hi all,
I was just wondering if everyone else is having the same problem as me. I have a C2D blackbook and the mouse is acting quite weird. Sometimes, it completely stops working for a few seconds before starting again.
It is very infuriating when it stops and was wondering if anypne else has the same problem or if it should be checked out. MY dad's MBP does the same if that helps

Do you have the "ignore accidental trackpad input" box checked in the mouse preferences? If you do try unchecking it and see if that helps.

I have it checked, and I've never had trouble with it, but I remember someone posted in another thread with a similar problem and this solved it.

Ok thanks. Is there any way to turn it down and not turn it off completely??

I'm not sure. I know with my pc laptop there's a control panel that lets you set the threshold for which it ignores input. Perhaps there's some way with terminal?
