I setup my Vision Pro today, and it's been pretty cool so far. I have an M1 Ultra Mac Studio and I wanted to try using the Vision Pro as a virtual display. There was some original flakiness in getting the two to communicate, but I am currently typing this on the virtual display so I managed finally...
The issue is that if I select a Vision Pro app (like Safari) and a text input dialog appears, I can use the Studio keyboard to input text just fine. The Studio's mouse cursor will not leave the boundary of the virtual display, and doesn't interact at all with the VP apps.
Note that Universal Control is all enabled and whatnot, and it works flawlessly between my iPad Pro and the Studio - I can control both with either the iPad or Studio keyboards/mice. My best guess is that I disabled or skipped something during the Vision Pro setup that is preventing the mouse from working properly. I just have no idea what that could be to go back and turn on... I haven't setup my avatar because apparently my house is too dark, but I think it should otherwise be the same settings as the iPad Pro.
While I'm asking questions (and possibly related) how does Handoff work between the Vision Pro and another device? I tried opening a web page on my phone - it shows as an icon on the Studio and the iPad, but I don't see anything on the Vision Pro. I assume it should show up on the menu like it does on the other devices, but I don't know and can't find it documented. Maybe it just doesn't work, or whatever is screwing up my mouse is also preventing Handoff? Any ideas?
