Hi All,

I have a 34 Inch Dell Monitor
Connected via a USB C HUB to my Mac m1
Mouse is Logitech MX Master - Bluetooth

The mouse pointer is giving a lag.

The same mouse and USB C hub setup when connected to a 32 Inch 2K monitor doesn't give any lag.

Not sure whether I should try to directly connect Display port to USB C on the Mac and try?

Any ideas.

Mouse is bluetooth so I guess the mouse has nothing to do with the issue.

The issue is only the resolution.

On the 34 inch if I set the resolution to a crappy one lower than 4K then the lag is a bit less.

Appreciate your comments.

Check the refresh rate. Some of those hubs can't do 60hz to 4k monitors - and force 30hz.

I had the same problem with an old USB C hub with HDMI - 4k monitor, it could only do 30hz.

Only thing I can think of?

Settings --> Display - check refresh rate.

FYI I've had pretty bad experiences with bluetooth mice and my M1 MBP - I usually default to wired or 2.4Ghz wireless.
