Just got the Magic Mouse and I have 2 mouse pads but the magic mouse just doesn't glide smoothly over either of them. Anyone have any suggestions on a type of mouse pad or material to look for? I don't know what it is about the Magic Mouse, I have an older apple mouse and a logitech wireless micro mouse that are both smoother gliding than this thing so far.

I had the same issue, but I ditched the mouse pad completely.

I have a Razer Goliathus (might be too big for your needs, but you can get smaller), and it works perfectly. No problems with tracking/movement whatsoever. Been using it coupled with the Magic Mouse since release day and have encountered no glitches.

I use the MacPadd it is great! It is aluminum so it goes great with my MBP. The Magic Mouse glides great on it.

i use the wooden desk im working at but, when my dad isn't looking, i occasionally steal his macpad which is nice for it
