Mouse pointer a bit sluggish?

Is it just me, or does the pointer on-screen seem a bit sluggish? I'm on a rMBP using the trackpad, and sometimes the pointer seems a bit jerky, kind of like something is holding it back. I have it on fast speeds, and sometimes it's smooth as butter, but sometimes it's a bit jerky. It's not entirely noticeable unless you look closely, but sometimes it feels slow.

I'm on 10.13.1, did a clean install.
