I have a 15" 1.5 GHz Powerbook. Just over a year old. My trackpad mouse seems to go haywire and i have no control. this can last between 30 seconds and ten minutes. Does anyone know how to fix it???

thanx.

thanx for the reply. it seems to be working now, but i will remember that if it happens again. hopefully i will only have to deal with it for a few more days. but thats only if apple doesnt make the mistake by making the ibook a dual core comp. and the powerbook the slow comp.

It seems to generally be related to how hot the drive is getting so letting the machine cool generally helps. I don't think you have to worry about Apple making the iBook better than the PowerBook. :)
