Hi, I'm a Windows user.

*ducks*

But seriously, I'm looking for a bit of usability help. I dislike OS X's apparent desire to anticipate my mouse resolution needs. It seems that with quick mouse movements it obeys the sensitivity I set in the Mouse Preferences, but when I slow my movements, it thinks I need more resolution and slows down the sensitivity significantly so I can pinpoint my clicks. I appreciate the idea, but not surprisingly, I am able to accomplish that myself. The constant change in sensitivity is driving me crazy. I don't see a place to toggle this "feature" on and off. I want to like OS X, I really do! But as a power user, I find these sort of "I know what you want" features frustrating.

Thanks for the help!

this is called mouse acceleration. I'm shure there is a way to disable that, just try google.
