Don't know if anyone has this happen to them but at random moments, my mouse (stock mighty mouse w/cable) just shoot to the bottom left or right for no reason. I then have to move my mouse till I can get it in view again. It wears on your patience after a while as you can imagine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a 2009 Mac Pro, Snow Leopard, 8-core, 16GB ram.
Help. thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, Dragonmantek. Appreciate it.

I've just found that problem recently after I took a mouse mat home to use from my office. I'm guessing it's something to do with the surface finish of this mouse mat, which causes the laser tracking error.

I don't have that problem when I've stopped using that particular mouse mat.
