Mouse Speed Scaling - Any way to get rid of it?

Ive been poking around trying to figure out why the mighty mouse feels so weird. I see why now. The mouse distance scales depending on the speed you move it.

In windows you could disable this.

I tried mouse zoom for the heck of it and that only changes the speed. Ive looked around and found where someone wrote an application to get rid of this behavior. Ive tried to contact them but no response.

Does anyone know how I can disable this speec scaling feature in OSX?
