Ok, I'm on an iMac 27 (late 2011) running Mountain Lion 10.8.3

All of a sudden my iMac is acting up. Sometime after reboot all of sudden any pointing device , logitech blue tooth mouse, apple trackpad, attached mouse via USB 2, the main click in no longer recognized. It just stops working. Second click still appears to work but not the main click.

I've rebooted sever times, once clearing the NVRAM/PRAM even ant the problem persists. I'm clueless to what's causing it.

My keyboard is a WIRED keyboard

Any thoughts on what's causing this? It started to happen after things started to slow down greatly and my mac hung and I needed to reboot it manually by holding down the power. M

Makes the machine useless

Take a look at your Console Logs. Open Console in Applications > Utilities > Console

Select "All Messages" from the top left area. Look for any errors.
