When I booted my MacBook with Snow Leopard this a.m., no input devices seem to work correctly. I can move the cursor around with any of them but in most cases, a click will not select anything or close any windows or apps.

Right now, I am booted into Windows because the Mac side is essentially unusable.

When the cursor moves over the bottom of the screen, normally the Dashboard would popup. That isn't happening today.

You know how when an app or folder has the focus how the top bar is darker? To me, nothing seems to be able to receive the focus. So, rather than it being a problem with an input device, something else seems to be causing them to not be able to work correctly.

Any suggestions are welcome. Shortucuts to open/close needed software in the suggestions would help...again because it is difficult to navigate and open/close things without anything receiving the focus.

Thanks,
Linda

P.S. I am going to cross-post this to other forums. I apologize if you see a similar post elesewhere.
