The town without George Bailey
The ball on my wired mighty mouse refuses to work, even after extensive cleaning on the advice of Apple's support site.

I called Applecare, and even though I don't have applecare, they told me they'd send a new one for free as long as I returned the old one.

I just got the confirmation email, and the receipt is for a new wireless mighty mouse. I never told them my mouse was wireless - it's the wired kind. The call taker never bothered asking.

Should I call them and tell them? Do you think they'd charge me or think I cheated them when they get the wired one back? I'd be pretty ticked off if I had to send it back and wait another five days on account of their mistake.
