Mousepad for the magic mouse?

Is it necessary to use a mousepad with the magic mouse? Do u guys use it?

I don't know if it's needed or not, but I use a basic (cheap) black mousepad with mine. I think do it more for the purpose of not scraping up my desk than for the mouse itself.

it will function fine without one, but the scraping noise across your desk is going to drive you nuts... plus scratch up your desk. You will want some sort of pad. Any cheap pad will do.
