I have the new canon rebel t2i and it records videos in .mov format as H.264 mpeg-4 avc format. Nothing will open it. Not on a leopard OS nor on a snow leopard OS. Not in VLC nor in quicktime. It says file is not a movie. For some reason my dad's computer was able to download the movies on his leopard OS and I was able to download ONE movie in iphoto on my snow leopard OS but now I cant at all and have no clue why. Please help :(

nope. I installed all the programs and no luck. It has a couple codecs for the H264 but also nothing. Whenever it opened the canon image program to download, the movies appear as a fuzzy quicktime logo and cant be played or viewed.

Ok I decided to delete the files thinking maybe they were corrupted? Wouldnt know why. Took a couple of videos again with the camera and now they work fine?? I dont know what the deal was because 2 of the files were from a concert and other 2 I was taking of my family. Why wouldnt they have worked?
