.MOV files exported from iPhoto have 00:00 seconds

I recently exported all my pictures and videos that I had stored in iPhoto as part of a backup. My machine died and I got a new one. I figured I was all set because I had exported everything just before it died. Well, now that I have a reason to look at the exported files, I notice that all the videos(.MOV files that were imported from my iPhone) are 00:00 seconds. They're basically images.
Any thoughts?
