Okay....

.... i have a .mov movie that is encoded in H.264, 1139 x 769, millions...with a data rate of 9.22mbits/sec.

i need it to play on a WINDOWS machine using powerpoint. (what a drag)

i just bought quicktime pro, which allows me to export as an .avi, and the file seems to playback through windows media player... but the quality is horrible.

how do i maintain the quality of the video in powerpoint?

right now, i am trying an export image sequence as png's, and then i'll try using windows movie maker to put it back together again....?

need this done in two hours...

When you go to export to AVI, you need to select a codec and quality level. Your problem is that you're probably sticking to the default and outputting in some crap codec. I'd suggest adjusting the settings for the AVI export to be uncompressed. Then you can drop that into something to convert it to WMV (since an uncompressed file will be very large).
