move contacts from blackberry to iphone

I have came over from the dark side (blackberry) and bought myself a Iphone , the only problem is that i can not work out how to move over my contacts from my old phone. I do not have a gmail address.

Well, they are free.

Once you get the contacts into a phone using gmail you can remove the gmail account from the phone and it will ask if you want to leave the contacts on the iPhone. Just say yes and you'll be good to go.

After you do all that, remove Google's account from your phone, but KEEP your contacts.

Do you have a SIM card for your phone? If it's GSM, which, I think almost all UK carriers are, then it must.

If so, save the contacts on your blackberry to the sim first:

Then, put the sim into your iPhone, and import:

Cut sim or use sim adapter. Many carriers transfer contacts for you, call your local store.

I exported mine to outlook and created vcards, then synced them thru icloud. I found instructions online somewhere.

Gmail sync not available in uk, orange in uk won't do it. not going to cut sim incase i make a b??lls of it.further research needed.
