Move files to trash from screen share.....?

This may not be the correct thread, but hey....

I access my cMP (Mojave) from my Mac Studio (Ventura) via screen sharing.
I am trying to move stuff on the MP to the trash, but it keeps giving a -43 error.
Is this something to do with permissions?

I can easily copy stuff from 1 Mac to the other via file transfer, drag and drop no problem.

Just created a new folder and tried to delete it, with the same error.

Are you trying to drag a file from the cMP screen share to the MS Trash? I imagine that won’t work. Just drag the file to cMP Trash instead….?

Yes trying to drag or right click and 'move to trash' on the MP, with no luck.
I vaguely remember something similar from years ago, which may have been sorted with a restart....🤔
Will try later.
