I have a MacBook Pro attempting to transfer a folder from it to a thumb drive which has 300GB capacity. The folder is 3.5 GB. The MacBook Pro sees the thumb drive but when I either copy/paste or move the folder with the mouse I get the following:

"The operation can’t be completed because an item with the name “Ronay Enterprises A” already exists."

The thumb drive was/is empty and only a small portion of the folder has moved before getting the above screen.

What can I do to move folders onto my thumb drive?

Thanks,

Jim
