iPod touch move itunes movie to ipod touch

I just got the ipod touch and didn't have wireless access yet, so I purchased a movie on my computer through itunes and was going to sync it to the ipod touch, but it won't allow me to check mark it or drag it to a playlist. I was able to download the "sample movie" and convert it for ipod touch, but I can't convert the purchased movie (that dropdown menu choice is grayed out). Any ideas?

That means that the video isnt compatible with your ipod. It has to be .mp4 (among a few others) and has to have certain characteristics. Look up Videora (thats off of memory, might be a little different). Thats the converter I use.
