Move music from play store to iTunes and into iOS

There is a way I can move my songs from the google play store into iTunes. Many articles which help out. But can I sync those songs with my devices from iTunes?

I don't want to download the play music app. So if i have music downloaded from the play store, can it get into my stock music app on iOS via iTunes?

Does any of the DRM thing apply?
