Hey Guys
I work at a company that has been using a Mac Mini as a server for files and network user logon for several years now. We’ve now outgrown the internal drive and I’d like to buy a 16TB Thunderbolt external RAID to offload all the server files to. However I’m not sure if there’s anything particular I should keep in mind for my network users who have home folders in the server folder. Is it just a matter of copying the contents of my server folder to the external, and changing all he location settings in Server utility? Or are there additional concerns I should be aware of?

Thank you for your help!

You'll have to be considerate of any mapping as well. Not sure if it will auto pick up where it left off when moved or if there be permissions changes that will need to be in place.
