Move songs from iPod to new MBP?

Hi guys

i have recently bought a new 13" MBP, and wanted to move the songs from my ipod to my MBP.

I used a windows before this, but i didnt sync my ipod with my old itunes, so i manually managed my songs.

But now i want to move my songs from my ipod to my MBP - and i really want my play count to be transferred as well. is that at all possible? If yes, what software is it?

I understand there are softwares that can extract my ipod songs to a folder - but im keen on the play count to remain.
