Last Tuesday, suddenly I was getting very, very little credit for "move." I could swim for 45 minutes. I could jog, use the elliptical machine, climb steps, and get 13 move calories.

So far I have switched wrists, orientation. Reset calibration data. Restored from scratch and did not use a backup. Restored from scratch and tried a backup. Unpaired the watch and re-paired. Sent watch in to Apple Repair and they said "could not duplicate." This is not an intermittent issue for me.

I am very frustrated to say the least.

You’ve done everything possible I can think of. Probably should contact Apple.

Yeah I spent 1.5 hours with tech support through web chat, then went to genius bar and they sent watch off to repair site, returned "unable to duplicate"

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like your stuck with the watch unless it becomes obviously defective during the warranty period.

Longshot here, but maybe check to see if your height or weight got changed somehow. Calories burned are based on movement, but height and weight are factored in too.

might have been 'longshot' but you got it I think. It says I weighed 20 lbs. Somewhere a digit was truncated. So much work, trial, error, sending watch off, driving, parking in Christmas traffic, and it was something so simple. Thanks, Christmas hug for you !
