On Tuesday, I achieved a 2200 day move streak. I have screenshots and shared the achievement with people.

Yesterday, I noticed that Activity says my Move streak ended at 2198 days on Thursday. That doesn’t even make sense from a math perspective.

Regardless, my streak didn’t end. I wear two watches, so I suspect a sync error or something. Who at Apple do I contact for support? Is this a watch issue? A phone issue? Something else?

I understand that in the grand scheme of things this isn’t the most important thing in the world, but when my wife was dying I promised her that I’d keep the streak until a certain date, so it kind of feels like the most important thing in the world to me at this moment.

I ran into this issue too, when I upgraded iPhones from my 7 to my XR and it was missing 2 years worth of activity data. Due to my iCloud storage being full it only cached as much as it should.

Did you restore from iCloud or iTunes/Finder backup when you set up a new iPhone?

If you haven't, go to the Health app. Browse>Activity>Activity
Scroll back and see if it has Move data from today back to last Thursday. If it is there, this should (HOPEFULLY!) be a sync issue.

Last year, an Apple "Genius" had me reset my phone and set it up as new. In the process, it lost Move data prior to that date. Apple support escalated the issue, but they ultimately said they just couldn't fix it. The Apple support phone number is 800-275-2273. Good luck!

ive had discrepancies like that a couple times over the years, it boiled down to iCloud sync issues and resolved itself over the course of a week or two.
I do have 2 watches too the most recent occurrence happened a couple months ago when I was in the hospital, I wore my secondary watch for a couple days, and I had anticipated that iw Ould lose my move streak given the hospital stay. Sure enough, I got the message "move streak ended on xix", I was bummed, but whatever. 10 days or so later, I was back on my original move streak, watch and iCloud sync options.

Do NOT un-pair/reset either watch(es) or phone, give it a couple weeks to sort itself out ...
