I'm new to Mac, so i'm sorry if this is a silly question. :apple:

I first noticed i couldn't do this when i was in Photoshop.
When using windows Photoshop if i selected a layer and then from the drop-down menue selected a blending option (like lighten), i could switched to the next item just by clicking down or up. Now i had to click on the drop-down and select the next one each time.

Then i noticed it when switching fonts. Before i would select the text the quickly preview lots of fonts by selecting the top one in the drop down, then clicking up or down apply the next ones until i find the one i like.

Am i missing something, Hack crack or app to sort it, or function key?

thanks
matt

+Just tried in Word 2008, and i can change the name of the font while text is selected, but it doesnt update so i can see it.

Also the quick preview doesn't work, i was aware of this that Microsoft (because their strange) didnt add it to word 2008, even though its a great feature, i'm waiting for Office mac 2010.
