How do I move certain TV shows and movies from my iTunes library (stored on my internal HD) to a new external HD (it's a 500GB WD Passport Studio)? I want to free up some space on my computer so after I transfer the videos to my external HD I plan on deleting the originals. If I do this, will I be able to easily plug in my external HD and play the transferred videos on iTunes without any problems?

I've searched all over for an easy answer to this but can't find any. Please help! Help of ANY kind would be amazing!

Move the files to the external, then delete them from the iTunes library. Once they are on the external, and not in your library, drag and drop them from the external while holding the option key. That will add them without copying them to the internal drive.
