I moved a folder on my desktop this morning and put it into another folder, but the moved folder is not in the folder I moved it to. Cant find the moved folder anywhere, trash or in any other folder's on my desktop. The thing is I cant remember the moved folder's name!
Is there a way I can view for example, desktop history as I know what time I moved the folder?
The folder was some video files that were in Plex. Can I check the history in Plex somehow?
I know, "what a muppet"!
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to use Spotlight. Even if you can't remember the name of the folder, what about the files?
You could search for "folders modified in the last hour", or some other criteria that might narrow the results.

Cheers Benwiggy.

That's done the trick.

Had my Imac 4 years and still learning.

Thanks for your help.
