We moved from Idaho (5 mb/s 3G speeds) to the Seattle metro (anywhere from 1.5-5 mb/s).

My service in Idaho was super reliable. Now, here, where the network is supposedly better, I am getting sub-par service most of the time.

I have run speedtest.net, and it never shows me in the correct part of the U.S. Until today, it was showing me on the border of California and Baja. Today, I am apparently located near Wellington, Kansas... Back in Idaho, it speedtest.net always showed the correct location.

Could this be a result of my having moved out-of-state from where the iPhone was originally set up? I called AT&T, but they said everything should be in order, and that phones don't need to be set up based on their geographical location.

I would think not... But you never know...

Any ideas?
