movie editing

I have a few 50 minute videos of game film, and i need 3 one minute clips out of it to send to colleges...anyone know of a program that i can use to edit easily? the video is a .vob. so the programs that come with Osx wont work....

Hi,

you could use Handbrake to convert it to a format iMovie/Quicktime Pro like and go from there.

ya i tried that it took an hour tho i was hoping their might be something faster..

Video encoding is always going to be a slow process. It uses an awful lot of CPU power.
