Movie making help needed

Hello,
I've never used Imovie before, I have imovie 09,
and I want to make a DVD for my nephew from a few clips of video I have.
I imported them to imovie ( like 7hours of "processing time") and now I'm able to drag them onto the drop zone and clip out portions of it, etc.. Now what I can't seem to do is add a main title so that he can access each of the clips from the main menu instead of having one long movie... is this possible or is this with I dvd only? the problem is that in idvd I can't clip the parts of the videos...

how to do this? thank you

Not sure about iMovie9(recommend you get iMovie11, it's much better), but along the top of the iMovie main window, there should be a couple of small "buttons". Clicking one of these should let you insert chapter markers which, when burnt to a DVD, will enable you to play different clips.

Also "chapter markers" in iMovie help should show you.
