Movie rentals from iTunes store

Before a recent trip I rented a couple movies from the store. I was not able to find/view them. Can I only view the movies on the machine I used to rent them? When I logged on with my iPad it indicated I had not rented any movies, hmmm. They are supposed to be good for 30 days. Clues to my problem anyone?

Unless you move the movies to the iPad, then yes, the only machine you can view them on is the machine you used to rent them. Or if you have an AppleTV and enable Home Sharing in iTunes, you can watch them on the AppleTV.

How would I move the movies to the iPad? Simple as authorizing the computer in iTunes?

You connect the iPad to your Mac, then you click on the iPad in iTunes top left list of icons, then you click on movies on the sidebar and it will show the rental movie and give you the option of moving it across.
