Movie situation help

Hi there,

I'm totally stumped. I cannot remember what movie (or TV show) I saw this in, so I turn to my friends here...

Situation: Man must insert two security cards or keys at same time, but they're separated in a way that two people are supposed to do it simultaneously.

The man ties a cord or something around the panel so that he can use a dead person or something to insert the other key while he's inserting his into the panel.

Does anybody know what the heck I'm talking about, and what show or movie it's from? It's driving me crazy. I can see him reaching with his foot trying to do it, and other similarly silly things.

Nope, this is probably from the 80's, and I'm almost certain it was a comedy.
