Ok I am a very bored 16 year old in the middle of my post GCSE summer holidays!

Most of the days I have entertained myself by browsing around the internet and watching stuff on my laptop.

I am sort of out of ideas of what films to rent!

I normally use imdb to browse around actors that have appeared in films I liked and see what else they are in!

Im sort of into teen comedies or scary films or simply films involving teens (like me)!

Here is a list of some films I have seen recently and if you can think of any good ones that I should add to my list please give me a shout! Note: that these are not all the films I have watched but they are the ones that I have enjoyed!

Drillbit Taylor
Superbad
All The Boys Love Mandy Lane
Never Back Down
Blades of Glory
Superhero Movie
Remember the Daze
Run Fat Boy Run
Vantage Point
Old School

And some others which I can quite think of at the moment!

Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

Thanks

Another one of these threads!

South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut is the BEST FILM EVER! :)

Another one of these posts! ;)

I don't have much to suggest, as it would seem my interest in movies is different, but might I suggest that you buy/rent a good game. I'm not really a gamer myself, but I do like to waste a few hours on one when there's nothing better to do.

You see I like to watch a film sometimes before I go to bed!

I prefer some passive entertainment, im so lazy that gaming counts as active entertainment!

If you like teen comedies check out movies by John Hughes. He is the Teen Movie master. His movies are favorites of mine. Based on some of the movies on your list I bet you would like Weird Science.:apple:

Dumb and Dumber (classic)
Semi-Pro
Hot Shots (1, and 2)
A Knight's Tale

If you want to see a very young Steve McQueen, try The Blob. Lots of girls shrieking in that one.

Very old. Might be at the library. Don't know it it's been converted to DVD yet.

)
Semi-Pro

I got this out with a friend and couldnt stand the first 10 minutes of it! I dont know if I just wasnt in the mood or it really was not my thing but I found the beginning awful!

Be Kind Rewind had the same effect on me! Even though i finished off another day and still found it awful!

...John Hughes...

He wrote Drillbit Taylor which was pretty funny! His other films seem a little dated though! I cant stand watching old films! I find the quality of them awful! Thanks for the suggestion though!

10 Things I Hate About You
Clueless
Starsky and Hutch
Juno

Noted! Have seen both Starsky and Hutch's and thought them to be pretty good!

The Descent
Ringu
Ils (They)
The Others

I thought the Descent was great!
I dont think Ill take to "ils" as I always find in foreign films I spend too much time reading the subtitles and not actually watching! My eyes just seem to get side tracked into always looking at the bottom of the screen!

After re-reading my first post I thought I should clarify that Im not some obese kid who watches movies all day! I just enjoy a film in my room before I go to bed! Just about to start one now actually!

Thanks for everyones input! Its been most helpful!

Psst, has he gone??

Go out and get a summer job!! :p

Boy he uses a lot of exclamation points.;)
I guess John Hughes stuff from the 1980's is kind of dated now. Although I can't understand how the quality is awful compared to today. To me it seems like a lot of the older teen movies weren't as stupid as the ones now. Then again I really like stuff like that though, even though it's older than I am.:apple:
