iPod touch Movie transfer

I read a forum recently talking about how that persons movies won't transfer onto his itouch after using handbreak on the moives and the same problem has arisen to me. I couldnt find the forum and i couldnt figure out why it won't transfer. Can anyone help me? thanks.
