Movie watching on white iPhone? (White vs black border)

Could some white iPhone owners/users comment on how well films look on that model? Does having a white border around the picture detract from the viewing experience, or wash out the picture?

I haven't had a white iPhone, but I've had a black and white iPad 2, and the black bezel is better for videos. And basically all content. The white always looks cleaner though, because dust particles are white.
