Using the latest TVOS on the latest AppleTV model and for some odd reason the movie year is missing for every movie or TV show that I play. This is a unique feature for the AppleTV which seems to be missing from the Mac and iPad devices on movie playback. I have rebooted my AppleTV to no solution. As usually google searches think I am talking about the phone or iPad when I am talking abbot the AppleTV unit.

Not sure where you’re expecting to see the year, but it’ll be shown on its listings page.
Press and hold then select ‘Go To Movie’ then scroll down.

The movie/TVshow year used to be visible, but was removed from AppleTV with the switch to TV app. Same for audio album year by the way.

It does not look like it will come back. By the way, the year is still visible in (macOS) TV/Music app metadata (Info).

Thanks Apple!
